Terms of use

Creditbase website and early-access terms.

These terms govern use of the Creditbase website and set the baseline for early-access discussions. Customer pilots or paid services will be governed by the applicable written agreement or order.

Who Creditbase is

Creditbase is a Solharbor product in development. The website describes planned and pilot-stage commercial-credit intelligence services built around public company information, portfolio monitoring, entity relationships and transparent public-risk research.

The exact contracting entity for Creditbase customer agreements must be confirmed before launch.

Website use

You may view and use the website for lawful business information purposes. You must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, copy it for a competing service, or use it in a way that breaches applicable law or third-party rights.

No financial advice or regulated rating

Creditbase information, alerts, indicators and research are not financial advice, investment advice, a regulated credit rating or a substitute for appropriate due diligence. Users remain responsible for their own commercial, lending, underwriting and compliance decisions.

Public-record limitations

Creditbase is built from public, licensed and customer-authorised information. Public records can be delayed, incomplete, corrected, superseded or unavailable. Companies House information is filed by companies and is not a guarantee of accuracy. Missing data must not be treated as proof that no relevant fact exists.

Corporate judgment information is included only where lawfully licensed, authorised by the customer or otherwise lawfully available, and Creditbase must disclose whether such data is included.

Early access and pilots

Early-access participation does not by itself create a purchasing commitment or require confidential data contribution. Any pilot, account, integration, API access or portfolio monitoring service may require a separate written agreement, order, statement of work or product-specific terms.

Customer responsibilities

Customers are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of data they upload, connect or instruct Creditbase to process, including portfolio lists, CRM records, integration permissions and any customer-authorised third-party data. Customers must have the necessary rights, permissions and lawful basis for their instructions.

Data protection

Where Solharbor processes customer personal data on the customer's behalf for Creditbase, the Solharbor Data Processing Addendum at https://solharbor.com/dpa/ is expected to apply, together with the Creditbase DPA schedule on this site and the applicable customer agreement.

Where Creditbase determines the purposes and means of public-record intelligence processing, Creditbase or Solharbor may act as controller. That position must be confirmed before production launch.

Intellectual property

Creditbase and Solharbor own or license the website, product design, software, schemas, documentation, text, branding and other materials, except for third-party and public-source materials. Access to the website does not transfer ownership or grant rights beyond ordinary viewing and use as permitted by these terms.

Third-party sources and services

Creditbase may link to or rely on third-party public registers, licensed datasets, hosting providers, CRM systems, communication tools and other services. Those services may have their own terms, licences, rate limits, availability constraints and data-protection roles.

Availability and changes

Creditbase is in development. The website, product descriptions, planned features, research direction and early-access arrangements may change. Creditbase may update these terms by publishing a revised version on this page.

Liability and governing law

Customer liability limits, exclusions, service commitments and governing law should be set out in the applicable customer agreement. The current Solharbor DPA states that, unless the applicable agreement says otherwise, it is governed by the laws of England and Wales. The current Solharbor website terms state New York law. Creditbase-specific terms must resolve this before launch.
